Helena Arahuete, principal of LAUTNER ASSOCIATES-HELENA ARAHUETE ARCHITECT, is dedicated to the creation of Real Architecture as unique, one-of-a-kind, timeless, flowing spaces that draw inspiration from the best aspects of the site, the Owner’s sensibility and way of living.

Helena started working with world renowned architect John Lautner in 1971 on the Arango Residence in Acapulco. She served as Project Architect on numerous Lautner projects, and rose to become the Chief Architect in John Lautner’s office until his passing in 1994.

Her recent and current projects are located in the States of California, Idaho, Michigan, Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, North Carolina and Australia.

Helena Arahuete brings an international sensibilty to her work. Born in Belgium and brought up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Helena graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and obtained her first architectural license and work in Argentina. She has been a Licensed Architect in the State of California since 1980, was certified by NCARB in 1992 and became a Licensed Architect in Idaho in 1995 and Michigan in 1996.
