The house is anchored in a cliff above a beach cove in the Pacific Ocean. It is designed so the sound of the waves and the ocean views can be enjoyed from every room. The three stories are stepped back to follow the slope of the cliff, with only the upper floor projecting from the access street above. The open stairwell connects all three floors into one continuous space.
