The Owner requested a one story open plan residence with an art studio and a library, natural light from skylights, water features, a greenhouse and a long lap pool. There are beautiful mountain views on all sides of the property. The design had to be organic and ecologically friendly. The proposed solution involved moving the greenhouse and the lap pool inside the house, to create an interior garden environment. This became the focal feature, with an operable skylight above each side of the pool, the full length of the roof and a wind tower to be used as the air exhaust and roof access.
